Moving can also be done on a do DITY bases. If you are moving on DITY bases the government reimburses military moving costs upon approval. This way most of your military moving expenses will be covered. Some families find it more convenient to do their military moving on their own. There are approved moving companies that can come on base and pack up your belongings for you when you have to move.
